over
magic.

I build marketing that runs itself. Content, automations, ads, the whole machine. No agency filler, no borrowed jargon.

At the desk with a stack of business books01 · desk / books
Note 01

The books get taller. The excuses get shorter.

Started reading strategy books to sound smarter in meetings. Stayed for the part where they actually work. Most of them are still unfinished, and I'm at peace with that.

Working on a laptop outdoors02 · outdoors / laptop
Note 02

Office hours, wherever the light is decent.

Right now my clients sit in three countries. England, Canada and Ukraine, and I plan to widen that map further. The wifi is the office. Everything else is furniture.

In hair rollers reading Empire of AI03 · rollers / reading
Note 03

Hair in rollers, mind on the AI apocalypse.

I read the AI books the way other people read horoscopes, half warning and half instruction manual. Being early to a tool isn't a personality. Knowing when it's ready for a client's money is.

Presenting a blank pad in a meeting while a colleague hides behind sticky notes04 · the brainstorm
Note 04

Not arguing. Explaining why the strategy's right.

Half the room brainstorms. The other half wears the sticky notes. I'm blunt, which reads as difficult until about week three, then it reads as fast. I'd rather be useful than liked.

At the gym with kettlebells labeled with marketing services05 · gym / reps
Note 05

Marketing is a full-body sport.

SMM, automations, Meta ads, email. None of it is talent, it's reps. The people who win are the ones who kept going after month one didn't work.

The stack

Tools I actually use.

Not a logo wall. This is the working set, the things running client accounts right now. If a tool isn't here, it either didn't survive testing or didn't earn the subscription.

Maryna working06 · building / testing
Note 06

Every tool gets tested on me first.

I break things on my own accounts before they ever touch a client's. One AI agent once ran a cron job overnight without asking, so I killed the API key at 3am. That's the rule now. Nothing publishes, sends or spends without a human saying yes.

Starting over in a new country07 · two suitcases
Note 07

Seventh time from zero. This one counts.

I have started over from nothing seven times. Canada was the version with two suitcases, me, and a four year old boy who thought the whole thing was an adventure. One of us was right. I would love to tell you I was brave. I was terrified, and I unpacked anyway.

Learning English and French08 · still studying
Note 08

Still a student, and not just of marketing.

Marketing, AI, new tools, another algorithm update nobody asked for. Then the syllabus nobody hands you. My son and I are learning English, French and how to be Canadian, all at once. I arrived with far from perfect English and I am still shy about my accent. I have quiet hope that one of us grows out of it, and I am no longer certain which one of us it will be.

All the roles at once09 · all at once
All at once

Mother. Founder. Student. Immigrant.

Mother to a seven year old boy. Solo entrepreneur. Permanent student. Immigrant. Friend. Daughter. And soon, I hope, colleague. That is a lot of hats for one head, and somehow they all fit. Most days it is loud, occasionally it is elegant, and it is working.
